An estimated five million people are homeless in Russia; one million of them are children.

This film takes an look at the lives of a group of children living on a rubbish dump outside of Moscow, showing the hardships they face and the dreams they hold on to.

Film is part of the "Why Poverty?" Project, which is a curated selection of full length and short documentaries about poverty in the world. It has been directed by oscar nominated director, Hanna Polak, known for such films, as "The Children of Leningradsky" and recently "Something Better to Come".
